get a job and start saving some money. let him know your responsible enough to deserve a new quad. dont just ask for them to buy you one, you might have to pitch in a little.

Here in Nebraska you could detassle corn at 15 or work at most fast food places. I would assure you there is some job that hires 15 year olds.

im 15 been saven up for about 4 months now and have 600 bucks....my dad got my 400ex for me and then said i was on my own now im getting him to let me buy a used 450r and pay for it myself

if u were my kid and i just bouhgt u a new 400ex (which i would not do in the first place) there is no way id get u another one after i said i wouldnt, i guess some parents dnt have a firm enough foot, and need to grow a back bone and say no to there kids once in a while:scary: pushover parents:scary:

1st) get a job. that way you can buy it & you will have money for gas, oil changes, other maint. and if you break something you will be able to fix it.

2nd) keep your job. show your parents you can be responsible and keep a job, while still keeping your grade up (oh yea if you have bad grades, id suggest getting them up)

Basically you need to prove to your dad that you are responsible and deserving. I mean why would your dad want to buy you a fourwheeler, when he knows that you dont have a job to support your hobby... If you didn't figure it out yet, riding can be an expensive hobby, and there is no reason your parents should have to support it.

bro im sorry to say but i get that in 3 weeks at 6.50 an hour. How many hours do you get a week

O and to the matter. just save up enough money and then say HERE dad here 2,000 dollars or w/e and he might rethink after u worked your *** off . My first bike (which i still have) is a kx 125 , my dad payed 2,000 for it and ive put a good 1000 dollars into oils, gas,trip to the track, gear,parts,rebuilds,checkups... etc Just show your dad how much you wnt it and he will rethink. This deffinetly does not sound right but alot of the times i bribe my parents. Like some times when they dont want to take to the track for about 5 hours or so ill just be like what if i give you 50 bucks. Like i said, not right but it works every time. Ask your father if you can give him like an extra 200 dollars or something or. say ill pay for the new quad and Ill help you here and there on this or that day.

well said, I had to buy all my quads from working and payments on my Raptor sucked so I sold it and got my 400ex out of my garage and is now getting shipped to GT Thunder.. It bugs me when I see kids on decked out 450's and banshees and they didnt pay for a dime of anything, so spoiled and they will be the ones that are poor in about 5 years cause when taxes come and there parents dont pay they will be scared.. :rolleyes:

If you buy a 400ex u better mod it they get pretty old in about 6 months..

Ive got a friend like that whos gets his mommy and dady to buy every thing for him. I dont have a problem with him but i dont rag on him. Hes gonna have to deal with thaat issue in the future. NOT my bussiness.

and they are all so bigheaded they show up at races with $20,000 atvs and think noone can beat me I beat a super modified 450R with my mildly modded 400ex and I know the kid and he didnt pay for a dime of his atv and his parents keep buying him race stuff even tho he sucks ***... his quad is probably a pro- quad easily, it could race with pro's with a good rider, but the kid blows..

no dumbass he said that was the last one he was going to get me ( like i have to buy it) and my dad does have a back bone he is one of the hardest works i kno!
