Sandtrax in Tulsa, Ok. will host it's first Dyno Day on June 17 from 9am to 5pm.
Stop the bragging and get the real numbers of top horsepower.
Have a hot dog and a soda while they last.

Dyno Day special...40 bucks, 1 session includes 5 full throttle pulls, no tuning, run as is and please bring a clean quad.

See the flyer for location and details at WWW.SANDTRAX.COM

You want people to pay $40 for 5 runs without tuning? Shouldnt the runs be free since there is no benefit for the runner? Unless you have prizes for the winners?

This is an old post. Like two years plus old.

I dyno my quad there at Sandtrax and they are standup kind of people.

The charge for tuning on the dyno is different that if you just want to generate some numbers.

I've been on that dyno for 72 pulls on one quad and about a dozen or so on another quad.

That particular day was a day of just "dyno fun".

Regards,

Rog

Just seems strange you would charge for a dyno day. Especially those prices. I pay $50 /hour unlimited runs. When building fuel maps that can be as many as 50 to 100 runs per quad. Of course Ive heard of shops charging $15-20 per run LOL. Cripes I do three consecutive runs per map change just to verify consistancy.

if u are tuning you don't wanna bust out like 5 runs in 2 min , its just going to kill your numbers cuz of the temps, most pros like to do 15min brakes between pulls

I have not seen that . I do about 3 runs in less than a minute and usually the 3rd or 4th run is almost always the highest. With fuel mapping on the fly and running simulated airflow speeds through the machine and room it works great. Letting the machine cool down messes with the ecm as we need to tune at operating temps where its not running in cold fuel mode.

The other guy probably hasn't ever seen a dyno.
