dude nice air/pics but if u make that landing bigger it will be easier to get bigger tricks down cause u wont be landing as harsh

keep it commin QFX rules

nice! the landing looks small but its really smooth. the jump is built on top a hill so really, it looks smaller than it is, and the landing is on the downsloap so if you overshoot its not such a big deal.

sorry i forgot to answer some of your questions. the gap is like 37 feet i think. it had it 10ft farther but i just needed way to much speed to clear it, and do tricks at the same time. i hit it in the middle of 3rd, which would be like middle of second on any 400's or 450's.

Looks like you got a good cameraman on your hands Mike:D . You should start paying him:blah: .

Come over sometime and we'll bust out the bulldozer and start clearing out some area for some jumps. Then maybe I'll hit them, my back has been good the past couple days...so it's a possibility:ermm: . I was thinking about trying it out the other day at your house before your Blaster died on you.

haha, screw that i'll just get cody to take pictures of the sky instead of me:rolleyes:

sounds kickass.. my jump is perfect but we could get some nicer ones done with the dozer.

the jump is built on top of a hill kinda.. so the takeoff is slightly uphill, landing slightly downhill. its really hard to tell how high it actually is. from the side.. about 4-ft. if you were measuring from the ground level that the jump actually starts at id say its 6ft or so. the takeoff is around 20ft long... really nice and long so it gives you awesome transition.

did you pull it at the end of the race or what?

yea, i didnt want to do it until finish jump b/c when my kill cord is hooked on my boots tend to hang it on the clips and pull it out and didnt want that to happen in the middle of the race, so i just do simple heelclickers and stuff if i feel like trin to get the crowd into it.

That's a cool ramp. How much did all the materials cost. Did you desing it yourself or did you buy prints

400exracer511

The materials were free except for the plywood. I know a guy that owns a construction company and he had it laying around because the boards werent perfect so he couldn't use them.... as for the way i came up with the plans, I looked at other people's ramps on here and used the dementions and came up with the design myself. If I didnt have access to free wood it probably would have been very expensive... i think i used around $500 worth of lumber! I guess i just got lucky. Thanks for the compliments.
