worn out basket

could a worn out basket make your clutch slip??
i bought a new clutch because i thought mine was slippin but the new one is the same as the old one. so i took it apart and switched the basket with another one and it worked for the first 10 seconds really good then went back to slippin again. any insight woould be great because im lost

do you have the plates in right? what is this on? is your cable adjusted to tight?

a worn out basket will cause the cluth to be hard to disenage. slipping cluthes are usually cause by worn springs or bad plates.
