I just ordered a K & N filter and i was wondering before i threw it in will it effect my air fuel ratio? will i need to up my jets?

if dialed in perfectly right now, shouldnt need more than 1 jet fatter

why not the pro design im sure thats the one he got and he bought a jet kit for it im not sure which one he bought but we went to the track today and his would bog down at the top of jumps when he went to pin it... guessing the jet kit will help out???

u dont need to change jets or anything like that. u just need to do something with the trans breather tube. i just put a mini filter on the end and havent had any issues.

You should rejet, and if it's an 06 dont worrie about the breather tube as far as a mini filter. These 450r come from the factor LEAN just to meet EPA standards. If you add a K & N filter then your adding more air which will make it even more Leaner! Just go to the dealer and get a 170 main jet and install, or burn it up and whine

ya its the pro design but it not as bad when i put the sleeve over the filter. already got the jet kit thanks for help
