Have you guys heard of American Star Racing products?? I found some A-arms for $400, I was wondering if they were any good

Yes, they are good a-arms, they made the a-arms for cannondales for a while

I bet you could find a good used set of a arms on here for cheaper. I seen a set of used housers going for $350 on here.

ive had asr's on my blaster for 2 years now and havent had any problems. great for the price

I would be really leary about those a arms due to having hiems in place of balljoints and hiems on the lower a arms which serves absolutly no purpose.

I have heard nothing but good from this company as well. I was acually debating on weather or not to get these for my 300ex, but I have decided to stay stock.

The actual arm I havent seen issues with, its the crappy heims.

I told one rider that he had better inspect them often, he then claimed they were new and were fine. 4 laps later I was towing him to his truck with a snapped lower heim. A few months later I met him again and he said he had nothing but issues so he sold them. This is not the only time I have seen them have problems.

IMO, for 400, your better off checking with JD, Burgard, JRD etc. Heck for $475 I can get arms that use the frap style lower with 16mm upper and breakage will not be a concern.

You get what you pay for.

just like pappy said the ball joints are junk ive heard nuthing but bad about the joints..

id say go with burgard,jrd, or houser
