what jets do you need, I have the jet kit that I don't use anymore, tell me what jets and I will see if I have them.

let me know, I will check to see if I have them. I have an FCR carb and I don't use them in that.

Do you already have a partial kit? If not, you won't be able to use just the jets. The kit comes with an adapter that screws into the emulsion tube where your old jet went, and then the Dyno jet screws into that. The kit also comes with a different needle to use with the new jets. Personally, I would probably just buy some Kehin jets and experiment with those. You'll probably want to have sizes between 155 and 165. I would start on the rich end and work down until you don't see any improvement. You should also get a 40 or 42 pilot jet so that your idle mixture is correct. A pilot jet should run about $5, and the mains should be about $3-4 a piece. It will be about half the cost of the kit, and you'll end up with the same result.

i fully agree with F-16Guy. buy the jets seperately. Dennis Kirk had sets of Kehin jets (5 in a pack) years ago. i don't have a catalog anymore. i bought those when i was building my 250x. i bought an AirStryker for my R from Eddie Sanders and it came with this kick *** aluminum, anodized jet board with ingravings for the jet sizes. a REALLY nice touch.

ive got dynojets in now, thats what the previous owner put in. so, if i switch to keihen, i dont need to buy a whole kit and i can just buy the individual jets without adapters and what not?

isnt keihen what is used stock?

Yes. If you go back to Keihin jets I'd go back to the stock needle also.

Yup.....if you don't, it is hard to "fine" tune your carb....

If you can't find someone to give you some DJ jets, I would switch back to Kehin. They are much more readily available, easier to change, and the performance is basically the same. I have Dyno Jets, but I have a 416, too, so I can't give you the ones you need.
