this is stupid but which way do u turn the axle bolt on 400ex?

i was need new bearings but i dunno which way to turn the axle bolt. its the big bolt on the axle. do u push or pull it?

if you mean the nut on the axle you turn it forward to take it off.

yup. turn the inside ring so it goes toward the center of the axle, then turn the outside ring so it goes toward the center of the axle, then remove the stop ring and slide the nuts and their collar off.
