It is a 2002 400ex frame with a 2005 crf450r dirtbike motor on it. The frame has tons of suspension work like shocks, a-arms, axle and others. Motor has lots of work including boreing and cams. This bike will haul some serious ***. Hate to sell it but have no time to ride it and need something to drive. Will trade for streetbike or truck. Asking 5000 but price is nego.

Sorry to bust your bubble there buddy but that's not a 2005 engine. Its either a 2002 or 2003. The bracket bolted on the right side of the head is where you can attach a manual decompressor for the cam that honda offered for those two years, 2004 and on doesn't have that, and the fly wheel cover (left side) isn't the new style magnesium cover that 2004 thru 2006 has, its just aluminum. And why don't you have head stay mounts for the engine?

I wasn't going to post at first but I figured it best. I know it wasn't really my place to do so but I do know a thing or two about building a hybrid. I don't for a moment think its a bad bike at all. Its nice and who ever gets it will be happy no doubt. Good luck selling it man.
