Can anyone steer me in the direction of where I can purchase a 400EX HRC cam or does anyone have one they want to part with? Anyone know the part number? Thanks so much in advance.

I used to have the part number and located the cam at Service Honda but I don't know what I did with it, I heard they don't have them anymore anyway.:ermm:

Check out this thread: http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2204786#post2204786 . There are a few cams that are almost the same grind as the HRC cam. The OEM part number for the HRC cam is there too.

Also, I think XRs Only (http://www.xrsonly.com/html/camshafts.html) makes a HRC copy-cat cam.

i know there used to be an HRC copy cam and it is NOT the same as the HRC cam. i don't know what they have now. Laz at www.gtthunder should be able to get you what you need if it is still made and the price will be pretty good from him. email or call him up. sorry, i don't know the part number. the real HRC cam is probably near $300. if you find an HRC copy cam for 1/2 that, it is not the real HRC cam.

the TC mx grind cam in a nice one. i ran it in my 426. it seemed to have a little bit more low end than the old stage 2 hotcam (new stage 3). but i made a few other changes at the time so its hard to tell. we have had good luck with the hotcam cams as well. i would look into the stage 2 and stage 3. the stage 1 ticks pretty loud. i never tried the stage 2 yet but the specs look decent
