I was wondering if anybody has ever put a temp gauge on a 300ex or similar motor to see how hot the oil is getting. And if i get one of those GDH coolers could i someway put an inline temp gauge to keep an eye on the temp.

Wouldn't see why not.
I'd look in the Dennis Kirks Harley section. Should be a lot of oil temp guages in there.

Do you think it will restrict oil flow to much with it being inline, and having a GDH oil cooler.

just get one of those temp stickers and put it on the clutch cover w/ and without the oil cooler. I think a oil cooler is next on my list.

I doubt they make them temp dipsticks for a 300ex.

400exrules where did you get that from and how much was it? That thing is a good idea if it really works right.
