got access to a sandblaster. wire brush will do it also

holy crap! really? that's alot. In that case, if they are $20 you can burn off the fouled debris with a propane torch, and a wire brush, don't disrupt the gap, though.

Once gas gets soaked into the porclen there is no saving. A wire brush or sand blaster is a quick fix that wont last long.

but, I use my sand blaster all the time. expecialy for snomobile plugs.

ya my friend has a 2003 rm 125 and his plugs are $35!!!!:eek2:

i heard if u take a lighter to it it might work.

The one thing I hate about the 400ex plug & hole is their so small, I'm not sure about other machines, but you have to find a special attachment for compression testers to get it to fit in that little hole, and the plugs WAY down in there!

Yes that does work sometimes. I always carry a lighter with me just in case. By no means is it a permanant fix, and it won't always work, but if you foul a plug on the trail, and don't have a spare it can be enough to get you back to where you can get another plug.

its prob a good idea to duct tape some spare plugs to the inside of your airbox while your out on the trail...also carry the stock spark plug tools with you to change them. they are small enough to fit in the airbox also

ya it was awesome when i had a 400, right before we go for a weekend we stop by the shop and if we cant remeber if we got extra plugs we just buy 2 or 3. now that i gots my 450 i save all my plugs. only had to change it once though :)

they are the shiny NGK plugs. They are all silver.:confused:
