i sat down long enough and came up with the answer if someone says it i will verify that they are right.

Up into the sky.. Cause your standing on south, so you would have to go UP to get North:confused:

If you were standing on the South Pole, north would be in any direction. There is no real east and west when you are at the South and North Pole.

In this case, North would be the direction of the Prime Meridian (or grid north). So if you were to stand at the south pole and face the prime meridian, any direction would be named in increments of degrees, or angles of azimuth. (85 degrees west of grid north i.e.)

:huh :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh

or if you left the south pole went any direction which would be north after you go even an inch or a mile yada yada you now would have a east and west. so the south pole and north pole is the only place you can stand without having the directions east and west.

Yes, if you move in any direction an inch you would be heading north.

There is an east and west, you just have to think in terms of angles of azimuths.

Up in the sky. That's some funny sheet!

You could go any direction, it doesn't matter! Duh!
If you're at the most southern point in the wolrd, no matter what way you go is going to be North!

up in the sky is not north.

you would have to go down. through the earth.

All you would have to do is move. You'd be heading north.

Straight down would be true north. ;):p

If you moved left, right, forward, backwards you'd be moving almost perpendicular to the axis of the earth.

Sitting down would move you more north than walking 100ft.

It's not like you would be upside-down dude. it's just like anywhere else...
You can't move "Down". You can't walk through solid ice.

The southern-most piont of the earth....
Any direction you go, is North. Very very very simple to understand.

There would be no true east and west on the north or south pole; however, if you move a fraction of an inch off center you could determine east and west by the rotation of the earth.
