chain question

ok i got my renthal chain i put 9 rides on it before itook a link out and i have put 3 rides on it since and still hasn't streched and i got the carrier as looose as it will go what do i do? right now i baked a good amount of chain lube to let it settle over night hopefully that will help it a lil (don't worry i always lube it)

you shouldnt need to take any links out. you cut it to the stock length (whatever that is for a 300ex) and then just adjust the carrier to whatever tension you need. i really dont know what you did but it doesnt sound good...

The correct number of links for the chain isn't guesswork.

do you different size chain and sprockets than stock, this would require the chain to be different amount of links.
