Bonnie Cook

Senior Riders -- watch out Jeff - here is some serious competition. Actually, this man obviously does not have a wife because she should be washing some clothes and a four-wheeler!!!!!

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:18 PM
And the Senior Holeshot goes to James Garrett.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:19 PM
Which leaves Gump to eating not only dust but a lot of smack talk he has been doing for the last month, but unfortunately, we all know he isn't capable of not talking smack, so it will continue.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:20 PM
And Jeff...... what was he thinking?
Actually he didn't want to tell all the Senior boys that he was going to give them a headstart -- ha ha Jake couldn't give no one a headstart in his old days of racing. Guess he will have to come out of retirement to try and one up Jeff.

Bonnie Cook

Isaac Bentley ready in the Vet Class.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:25 PM

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:27 PM
the Four stroke B Class holeshot goes to Joey Bashaw.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:29 PM
And of course, these boys are so ready to go, and young, and crazy - they caused a big pile up!

The Unlimited Sportsman class grew out of no where!!! 27 riders about to do battle, and only half were able to complete 4 laps. congratulations boys!

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:31 PM
Womens holeshot goes to Angela Horn

Bonnie Cook

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:39 PM
Twelve seconds back, Bryan Cook

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:40 PM
Santo DeRisi worked his way into third after being last off the line.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:41 PM
Mike Houston out front on the white flag lap, throwing up dust as he went.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:42 PM
Bryan Cook, still second, worked his way into just seconds behind Houston.
Unfortunately, he lost his seat several times on the last lap after breaking his sub-frame, allowing Houston to run away with the lead.

Bonnie Cook
06-06-2006, 04:43 PM
Meanwhile in the A Class, Dustin Canipe was out front.
Dustin's first laps were faster and more consistent, but by the end of the race, Will Cashion started picking up the pace and was able to reel in Canipe, but not enough to make a pass.

In the Vet Class, Isaac Bentley was out front on lap one with Corey Mitchell close behind in second and Shon Franklin battling with Joey Coogler.
By the white flag lap, Coogler was out front and running strong.

And the Overall winner is Mike Houston by two minutes after Bryan Cook lost his seat. Third overall, wasn't Santo DeRisi after he was wrapped up in barbed wire within miles into the last lap. Third overall then went to Jason LaRusso, who was glad to be back in the top three finishing standings, but still nearly three minutes behind Cook.
Fourth Overall was Matthew Parker, who was featured on the plaques. Fifth overall went to Dustin Canipe from the A Class, with Will Cashion finishing twenty seconds back. Taking third in the A Class was Josh LaRusso, only ten seconds behind Cashion with Andrew Brown taking fourth and eighth overall.

gump
06-06-2006, 06:34 PM
them 2 guys came down and got the guy on the warrior straightened out and pushed me back half in the mud hole and half out, bottomed out with a tree in front of me they pushed me where i could get going again but the vet class had just fired up 100 yards behind me and let me tell ya them boys are fast !!!!

Great to see everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonnie, thanks for continuing to put up our laptimes every race! Love being able to check all the details out. That was the most fun I had at Airport. Buren has done a great job with the tracks for Mideast this year and the nationals I have been able to run.

My trusty Predator is with Eddie Siegers having some much needed work. Front wheel bearings, a-arm bushings, front sprocket, etc. He even worked some magic to make the terrible squeak go away that I have been hearing for a long time. I am really looking forward to Parker Valley!!!

And isn't the women's class making a showing this year!!!! I think we have a great group of us sticking it out unlike in previous years where they come and go or come once and never come back!!!

Thank you for the complimennts. You are doing a good job keeping the first place in senior class an honorable position. You have to be an a class rider to win the senior for quite a few years now. When you get bored with winning you can put on a cape and some balls. Some day when Gump gets rid of that alligater mouth and lizard arse he to will know the smell of victory but for now let him be a old hot bassturd.Good luck next out-ting.Bye the snake.
