does it attatch just like a stock hood?

Yea it will fit the 06 and it doesn't really attach like the stocker, there are bolts that go thru the main holes up top and you drill two small holes in the front corner of the fender to attach the front of the hood.. It comes out very clean...

Here is another maier on my new plastic...This is just the flatty one, without the scoops..
