2006 jetkit

has anybody put the dynojet kit in their 06? Im about too and its says leave airbox lid on but I must remove the "air snorkel"? I dont know what that is. need a lil help. sorry if its a stupid question.

you should have just bought the [crf 450 needle], bigger main[165/170], and #55 leak jet.

most people do not run the dynojet kit, the jet sizes are diff than keihn. if you have questions [jetting] it will be difficult to help you out.

you could have got what i listed above for about $15

my crf needle was $11
main jet was $2.50
leak jet ? i cant remember [ couple bucks ]

as for the snorkel, i would guess it is the breather tube that runs through the lid

I just did mine and used a 42 leak jet and good bye bog......what a freakin snap.....Chad502 recommended a 35...but he was saying they started with a 55 mine had a 70...and now a 42...and it has way more snap

who figured out your setup? ( needle,main and leak )

i figured it out, all parts are from the '06' crf carb. i'll try and find the part #'s, but i may have tossed them.

have your honda dealer pull up diagram of 06 crf 450 carb:

buy the needle and #55 leak jet from this^^

buy a couple of keihn mains, say: 160,165,170

also grab a 45, 48 pilot

the 450r hrc needle "is the stock crf needle"
the 450r hrc cam "is the crf cam"
the hrc main jet is like a 168 or something

you'll have to fine tune it, but these couple things are all you need, if you get a parts discount, you should be able to get the above carb parts for around $25
