Carb leaking??

Help! When I shut the motor down, the overflow runs gas out until I shut the fuel off, what is causing this?
99 400, stock carb, have not done anything to it, just started doing this today.

There should be a little screw on the left side of the carb. Check and make shure that is tight. I would think it would be something in that area. If this screw is loose, it will drain gas untill the fule is shup off like you said. I hope this helps

mine did this a few weeks ago. Have you been in the carb? I was jetting mine and i had got some dirt in the needle seat. I took it back apart, took and airhose and blew it out, not a problem since.

No, I didnt mess with it at all, I put new plastic and a CFM airbox on and thats all, thats whats really weird about it.
Thanks for suggestions, I wasnt really sure.
