What size feeler gauge do i need to adjust the valves on my 2002 400ex. I know how to do everything else jus need the size.

Well I just adjusted the valves on mine and the book said that the intake valves is .004 and the exhaust valves is .005

im still slightly confused, if thats the size then thats the size feeler gauge i need?

yes that is the size of feeler guage you need for the stock cam

it looks like a pocket knife. The guage has tons of different sizes. Just go to ur local auto part stor and thye should have it. I went to advanced auto and they had it. Get the one that is curved at the end or else u have to bent the striaght one!

so if i buy the bent one it should have the size?

just check the sizes before you buy it. I know i boght ones that were to big but i already had the straight ones, so i just used them and they work fine
