you could buy a dual row bearing carrier. Only way I have found to make them last any longer. I bought one with a grease zerk that is accesable without tearing the rear end apart. It has lasted over a year with no problems. Just grease it after every ride. You can find them on ebay fairly cheap think I only payed about 150 for mine.

when replacing axle bearings make sure you get new seals and check the brake and sprocket hubs for grooves wore into them from the seals. deep grooves on the hubs will let water and mud past the seals like they're not there. you can also remove the bearing grease seals and pack more grease in them then replace the seals. aftermarket carriers with an extermal style grease fitting(you can grease it without removing it from the swingarm) are the best and go for a tapered bearing over the dual row.
