which pipe would be best for a 400ex hmf or sparks

You should just search this site for the answer, although you'll get about 1000 different responses. You're not going to be dissatisfied with either. Go Yoshi, HMF, FMF, Sparks, Big Gun, even White Bros (probably the worst of the best). I just did a Yosh RS-3 full system and love it.

I have a Curtis Sparks and I love it. You can feel the power it gave even my friends one with a pipe z and one with a 450r could tell. The Sparks sounds great but so does the HMF. I like the looks of tge Sparks better though. I think either way you will be happy with your decision.
