I was just wondering where everyone gets their o-rings from. Are there kits that specifically fit the 400ex? I just ordered 2 tiny o-rings for the oil pipes from Honda and they were like 3 bucks a piece Canadian and they are the size of a pencil eraser.

i get mmine for fee at my work. but im pretty sure that u can take what u need to the hardware store and pick em up cheaper than what hondas cost. I know they sell o ring kits but i dont know of any quad specific ones. once again those could be picked up at a hardware store

Unless you know a lot about O-rings and are able to evaluate their quality, I'd stick with OEM on stuff like that. I mean, come on--how often are you going to be replacing those two O-rings. As far as I'm concerned, its worth an extra 5 bucks to know I've got a high quality, correctly sized item.

YMMV

Ya thats true. Thats why I asked if there was a honda o-ring kit available so I dont have to order the rings individually. I still need a few others.

most likely they are a Buna-N material. standard in any hydraulic shop. Check Grainger or any auto parts store.
