I'd put in heavy duty studs.

HD studs and o-ring the top of the sleeve. Make sure to re-torque the stud nuts after 5 or 10 hours. A HD rod would be nice insurance--but an extra you could prolly skip.

would i need studs with an 11:1?

im trying to keep things cheap, simple, and reliable yet get alittle more power out of the 400

better to spend a little extra money now, then a lot more money later for repairs. HD studs will cost you about 50 bucks.

yes, If you have a torque wrench to torque them to specs. Have you allready took your cylinder to a machinist to get it bored?

yes, i have a torque wrench. no i havent done anything yet, im waiting on the money now...and i need to find a place to get it bored and honed.

do i get the 416 piston first, and take the sleeve(not the whole cylinder) and the 416 piston to the machinist so he can match them and give it the proper bore?

Yeah, I would get everything (piston, HD studs, cam, etc.) before taking the sleeve to a machinist to have it bored and honed. Take your HD studs, and head to the machinist and have them set the HD studs in the head for you. Thats what I would do, and I think some of these other guys would agree with me.
