Ok, Tire question

I have an 01 400ex ... with stock rims...I want some turf tamers cause my buddy loves them and they are decent price ... well I want 20s of sure... and 9 inch rims soo 20 x ? x 9s right

now should i get 20 x 10 x 9 or the 20 x 11 x 9s??

I dont get the middle number...

oh and what ply?

It wouldnt really matter, the middle is the width of the tire..

Ya, id go with the 20x11x9, it'd probably help a lil with traction.
If i remember correctly, i think all the tamers are 2 ply so u wont have to worry about what ply to get:cool:

Dunno, whichever you prefer.
But go with the 6-ply, the bigger the ply the better, 6-ply is going to wear down as fast as the 4-ply.

tamers hook up great, but a re so soft that they wear really fast.


20x11x9 means that the height is 20", the rim diameter is 9", and the width is 11"

with a 11" wide tire, there will be more sidewall "bulge" and a little bit better traction
