View Full Version : a- star tech 6
i recently purhased a pair of a-stars tech 6 riding boots. I ride a banshee, an Iadjusted the shifter and the brake pedal some to compensate for the boots being different then normal rocky boots, and I am having a hard time using my foot brake still, its like Ican't bend my fot down or I can't shift my weight properly and feel stable on off camber downhills when trying to brake. any suggestions on how to soften them quicker, or anything. please any advice will be appreciated. thanx

The old trick way to break in any boots is to get them wet and then walk around or ride with them on. People would stand in the bathtub to get them wet and then walk some. Make sure that you oil or use something else on the boots before and after .

Just have to break them in. I had the same problems. My Tech 8's
were easier to break in and are the more comfortable of the two.

get ur garden hose out and wet the boots down so they are soaked... then walk around in them for a hour or so and they will be broke in...
