how come when I am looking at chains they are 110 and 120 links but my 400 needs a 94 link? does this mean I have to take links out? Also if you guys have a good place for cheap ATV chain/sprocket combos let me know.

Yep, you will need to take a few links out. To do this, most people use a grinder to grind the head off of the pins.
