I have a Freedom BMX 150cc ATV and the stock clutch lever is getting sloppy. I was thinking of going with an aftermarket clutch lever, but I have a few concerns. On my current lever there is a switch and wire coming out of it that I assume is for staring purposes. I usually start the bike in nuetral anyway without using the clutch. Can I just dissconnect the wire and use an aftermarket lever or will this mess up things? Any help would be great.

You should be able to just twist the two wires together and tie them up somewhere, out of sight it will now start in any gear but thats ok, just pull in the clutch if its in gear. then use the after market lever. Thats what is usually done on most brand name quads also, I have it that way on my 440ex honda with the aftermarket clutch perch and lever.
