did you try the twist?, I prefer a twist on my atc200x, on my 2 strokes never and I'm considering a twist on my crf450r hybrid.

is it harder to wheele with a twist throttle? also do cut fenders make it harder to bring it up?

why do you think the shape of fenders have anything to do with a wheele?

some1 told me that the way mine are basically like 450 fenders it doesnt have as much air hitting them which helps keep the front end up from the resistance

I would not listen to your buddy or whatever,,cause it wont affect it. Use the twist...try it for a bit..if you like then keep..if not then trade. atleast get your first pick in the deal if you bought the machine..

After riding a whole day and realizing your thumb doesnt hurt like it did with thumb throttle, you will appreciate the twist.

You have got to be the dumbest MF'er I have ever seen on an ATV (or any other) website. I rarely come to atvriders.com and this post is a great example of why.

i tried a twist on my 00 400ex.that was the first time i tried on a quad.i hated it.just couldn't get into it.that is only my opinion.
years ago a lot of racers went to twist, but it seems like now thumbs are coming back in the picture.i know billet makes some kind of ball bearing thumb that is easier to use.i never tried it thou......

FENDERS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WHEELES!!!!!!!!!! man you dont know what you are talking about,, why the hell would the shape of your fenders have anything to do with the performance of a quad or the level of rider you are:huh , race cut fender are mostly just for looks and they dont crack as fast when MX racing.

You probably have not been riding as long as I have been doing wheeles. If you ever cut your fenders you will know what I have known for years.

In all your experience doing wheelies you must have gone over backward and landed on your head too many times. I previously posted that the person starting this thread was the dumbest MF'er I had ever seen on a forum, but you have now taken this honor.

JF400boy. I am guessing you probably don't know how to cut fenders and that is why you can't do wheeles. If you ever wanted to try something new you might be able to learn something. Go ahead and cut off your fenders [take a chance] and see a whole new world to riding ATV's.

It is harder to wheelie because once your up it's hard to let off the throttle and bring ti back down. my cousin's got a twist and I wheelied his by accident and couldn't bring the front end down. I ended up going into his house and flipping it. now I owe him a steering stem and maybe a set of bars. I also need to fix the damage on his house. to each his own though
