We started off for the race in the rain and it stopped before we got to the track. Well for the most part the road going in was good till we reached the last little hill going into the track. We ended up getting stuck and Chuck had just left for dinner so there wasn’t anyone there to pull us in so we unloaded the quad and pulled ourselves in. That was ok we got to the spot were we were going to pitch our tent and it started to mist again. The rain and wind lasted all night. When we awoke in the morning the rain had stopped and it was cloudy but the sun was trying to peek through. The sun finally came out strong during the second youth race. The track was 8 ½ miles long and consisted of big hills, creek crossings, straight aways, mud, mud, and more mud and ruts, and tight woods.

The next six pics were taken from under a canopy due to the rain. I didn’t even think to pack the umbrella who would have thought we would have had rain there was only a 20% chance. That rain dance of Johnny’s must really work next race somebody duck tape that boys hands and feet so he can’t do that dance lol. Just joking with ya Johnny. I am not sure who this is but it was on a straight grassy section at our pit.

Well the rain has finally ended so now I can go walk around. And boy are these guys muddy. With the rain it made for deep ruts everywhere.

renae
06-04-2006, 08:39 PM
he tried to jump it but lost a nut off of his ball joint that could have hurt if he would have gotten air.

renae
06-04-2006, 08:43 PM
this is the second part of the step up. Some tried to jump this as well some made it and some well I bet they wished that they would have just rolled over it. Just like this guy I bet he would have wished he rolled over it. oooo that had to hurt.

Renae great photos. Nice to other parts of the track that I can't get to other than just the scoring line. Thanks to all who weathered the weekend. Looking to Boyers in less than two weeks. Bring dad out on Fathers Day. Tim:cool:
