I have an 04 450r and i figured by now the seat wouldnt be so damn hard but it still is. Will buying a new seat cover soften it up or what should i do? If a seat cover will do the trick which one would you recommend?

Thanks

I think a quad tech seat cover softens the seat up. It seems to be softer than the stock seat.

Buy a new chunk of foam and a new seat cover. Make it look like a Baja quad:D

a seat cover will do nothing, it is just what it says, seat cover, just material covering the foam, if you want a softer seat get a quad tech seat kit, comes with new foam and a cover

I have a quadtech pad and cover. i think it is a couple of inches thicker than stock, but I like it. my thighs are more horizontal, so it helps transition from a seated postion to standing.

Verdepowersports just done my Daughters mini seat and built it up for added height, but it actually is REALLY soft and comfortable now . It was a really inexpensive mod to have done.

If interested, give Troy and Verde powesports a call .

are you kidding me? that thing is like a rock. there is less then 1 inch of padding and it is solid as crap. it is comfortable for short times and on the mx track where your barely sitting down anyway...and only for a few minutes.

get the quad tech +1.25 cover and foam, it is pretty soft! i also have the quad tech normal height seat and foam and that is pretty kick arse too.
