ok it's a 25' gap with a 4' high launching ramp.

I doubt you have to hit it in 3rd because I have a jump it's like 2 ft tall and i hit it in third and get about 20-27 ft. I would try second if I were you.

but it looks really nice. u could do that in 2nd gear. my 250ex does about 35-40 ft in 3rd gear around a berm and ur gonna be on a 400ex

i did it in second gear the first time i did it i kind of cased it but the second was alot better.last year i made a 30' and nailed it the first time but im kind of rusty now but in a few weeks i'll be doing that jump like nothing.btw how can u guys do tricks, man i fly and i wouldnt even have enough time.

Im pretty sure I could clear that in first on the 450...haha Depending on your gearing on the 400 I would say either 2nd or 3rd. Try it slow first and land half way and then try and judge your speed needed from that.

Don't do what I do. I hate jumping but when I have to or the adrenaline is pumping I over clear everything and about kill myself.

I'd hit it in 3rd, but only like 1/4-1/2 throttle, def. not pinned. But 2nd would work to.

i over rev in second alittle but not to bad is that good and how do i get more air time.

second gear would seem right but i got a 10-12 foot jump and i hit it in seconf and im at 1/2 throttle and i clear about 13ft...so im kinda suprised you guys are saying second id hit it in third gear just to be safe..but you guys proly now more bout that stuff....(just my 2cent).:devil:
