i have a 2006 400 ex, it is all stock considering i just bought it aboout 2 weeks ago and i have no extra money right now, i am just wondering if the suspension will hold up doing some small doubles and stuff like that, nothing to big? i am not able to buy any upgrades at the time, but will it hold up with the stock parts for a little while? thanks

I agree. Stock stuff can handle alot more than ppl give it credit for

My friend has a stock 400ex and he was jumping 45 Foot table tops with it. Not bad for stock suspension suprised me. My only problem with stock suspension is it is bouncy.

Yea you will be surprised what stock stuff can do. When you get a couple extra bucks together...I'd look for used 450R shocks. Can get em for cheap

you think it will still hold up considering im a pretty big kid, 6 foot, 250 pounds?

i just started doing a 25' double and the stock suspension eats it up really well. i did a 30' double last year but had to sacrifce it.

Roger on the bouncing crap. I hate that. I have stock suspension, :( , I have jumped my quad pretty far, but keep in mind that it was on sand as well. Little more forgiving than dirt.
Elkas are soon to come though. Wish they wern't so @#$% expensive.
