trouble starting

i just bought a new 06 trx 450r electric start and its hell to get started cold, and not real easy when its warm..any suggestions on what it is? its stock, nothing at all done to it..its 2 days old

my budies 06 450r electric start is a pane to get to start. Its wierd. It turns over then like when it would normaly start it makes this funy sound and stops the starter motor. Like the compresion builds up to high for the starter motor.
