i just got a raptor 660 today and was running great for about an hour then it would just cut out pretty often like i couldnt go with out the throttle just giving out and then it just died while i was goin and it wouldnt start back up again but it would idle fine i took it to a shop and they said tta the starter clutch is out and it would be about 380 to 400 bucks to fix it so should i just buy the whole new thing like the L&A and what please help i cant wait to ride it again

starter clutch may or may not be out, but it wont keep the bike from running unless it's shredded and damaged the rest of the engine.

Sounds like your parkingbrake limiter is kicking in. Do you have it removed yet? Is your reverse switch plugged in all the way?

i also forgot to mention im guessing it as just a short but my reverse light comes on just at random times

and no i havent removed it yet how do i do that just remove the whole parking brake cable

mine did the same thing, its the wire below the chain. cheack if its unpluged. and the L&A one way rocks!
