in another thread they were talking about putting a radiator on a 400 ex. is this possible,worth it, way expensive? :huh :huh :huh

it would be possible but im not for sure on the expense of it??????????????? but you could try a reaidtor off of a dirtbike or z400 or something and make it work though probably!! but my opinion i would leave it exactly like it is my 416 just runs great and never gets to hot.!!!!!!!:devil

You can very easily find a radiator that will fit into your frame from a dirt bike. The problem is that you can't hook it up to anything. Your machine is air-cooled, so there is no water in it at all. To have liquid-cooling, the motor needs a water jacket, water pump, etc, etc. A few people have made them liquid-cooled, but the cost of doing such a project is outrageous with pretty mediocre results. A good oil cooler/reservoir would be a more satisfying and inexpensive investment.
