step 1: take off your front plastic

step 2: remove the 2 bolts that are near the top of the stem

step 3: remove the green plastic bushing and clean well

step 4: re-apply grease to the green bushing

step 5: reinstall everything

hope this helps ya:D

well i just got finished. I just tightened the bolts pretty tight. how do u remove the green bushing? isnt it wrapped around the stem thing? Any way i just moved it up as far as it could go and put some grease then moved it as low as it could go and put some grease. It stopped sqeaking so im happy. Thanks for your help.

I just did mine yesterday. My Bars turn much easier now. Also that bracket that holds the brake line we could not get that bolt to move at all. That is stupid how they have it on there. Also we just put the bolts on until they were good and tight.

The next time before or after you ride, just spray some WD40 at the top of the green bushing and that keeps it from making noise and it will tun good.

wd40 is a degrease and it also fights against moisture so it will make it dried out! use some wheel bearing grease and u shouldnt have to do it to often

btw: speaking of wd40, believe me or not but when u need to put on grips wipe the bars down clean and spray a lil amount of wd40 in the grip let it sit over night, the wd40 will get rid of any moisture and make the grip nice and tight. or u can just put a lil layer of duct tape on the bar lol. i will hold nicely and after a few rides try to pry of the grip and peel the tape and it will nice and sticky.

lol
