416 wont start

Thats right, yesterday she just quit out on me.

No nuetral light and the motor doesnt crank over. I got no juice at all.

I notcied the top bolt rattled out and is gone from the battery support bracket.

I am gonna go over it tonight and see what is wrong. My dad is a trained mechanic, but he is kinda freaking me out. Saying that the battery could have just plain old quit and went bad. Or the starter went or its not getting charged by the altenator or what ever charges it.

I hope its just a dead battery and nothing expensive needs to be replaced. I think it went dead because it was loose and was bouncing around.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

did you check your fuse's??? if you cant push sart it and the neutrual light wont come on it could be the fuse's. :confused:

DID YA TRY SWAPIN OUT TO A BUDDIES BATTERY YET? 300 EX AND 400 EX BATTERIES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. IF NOT...OR IF YA NEED THAT BATTERY LET ME KNOW..I WILL HOOK YA UP;)

After cleaning it I realized what was wrong.......I snapped my ground wire.:huh

You couldnt beleive how releived I was when i saw that. I thought I was going to burn a huge hole through my wallet again.:eek:
