actually its not. i posted on my local motorcycle board to draw them into watch it and i guarantee you half of them are no longer watching due to the quad terrein madness

lmfao yah that part was funny haha....especially when he said they are incredibly stable........ok buddy sure a stock machine is not ''incredibly stable'' when your trying to take turns fast.

but after the qualifier or somethin, natalie got 1st and gust got 2nd, and natalie held his hand out to shake gusts hand, and gust through his hand up in the air and rode past him....then natalie hit the gas and ran into the back of gust, and they leaned into each others faces and had a few words

One of the best hours ive ever watched on ESPN....and hands down one of the best coverages ive seen of the MX race. The UTE race was a blast, even my wife watched the entire show and thought the UTE race was a blast!

Hang on folks, this could be the start of what some of us have waited for since the 80's! All they need is knowledgable announcers and more events!

You guys have to remeber, everyone that watches it isnt a pro mechanic or really educated on a the sport.

Just imagine the first time you sat on a quad.

IMO The utes was badass seeing all the pro riders from when quads first started out duking it out.

haha those sasquatch commercials cracked me up. lmao, i thought this was the best coverage for quads since ive been living. lol, but you would think either gust or natalie would of acted better infront of the camera since this was the 1st show of our future.:o

Gust isnt stupid, maybe a little banter to try and get Natalie off his game for the main. If he is thinking about something other then racing it could be an advantage.

Did anyone notice how the LTR's where having trouble landing that one jump. It seemed like the quad just died when it landed, while the R and YFZ pulled out of the landing.

im glad they showed the gust natalie thing. ive seen several times first hand what a bunch of scumbags the entire suzuki mx team is. i have zero respect for any of them and love the fact that the quad they claimed was better stock then any race quad is sitting in 3rd and 4th behind 2 hondas.

I got to watch the race as well.....and all I can say about it was WOW! Finally quads on T.V. I think the whole Natalie and Gust thing was a very realistic example of motocross. So I think they wanted to show it, I mean look at us. We are all talking about it right? That's exactly what ESPN wanted. :blah:

lol i had my alarm on my cell go off at 9 o clock exactly. i grabbed the remote and turned it on ESPN while still in bed. lol then watched the race. even though im not a fan of the UTES. while i might be just never rode one.... but i thought that race was cool and fun to watch. cant wait till next week.

i look at this as good and bad. im glad they showed the gust natalie thing. its good to see how frustrated people can get and that cockyness (esp. by gust) doesnt pay off at all. on the other hand, i just dont wanna see the pros turn into the dirtbike guys. hard to get into the pits and get autographs... stuff like that. i'd like to see it stay with simple down to earth people. hopefully the publicity wont go to anyones heads.

however, i did like the superquad thing. i kept thinking, "hey, ive got a superquad downstairs."

I ahve watched it 2 tiems so far. LOVE IT.

Did anyone eltse like the part when haavisto was battleing for 7th pos. They where going throu the double double section and haavisto hits the last double and goes way to the left to hit the grass bank on the left and use's it as a birm for the next corner. I watched that part like 30 times over.

Yea when I say him in the air Im like this isnt good. But then I remembered its not me racing and they have full longtracl quads. So he just used it as a berm to set up the next turn.

LOL, this all sounds like the old Quadwar's stuff at monster truck shows. It was all set up of course to build a little hype. I highly doubt that the gust/natalie thing was setup, but just a little weird that happened, espicially for the first airing of the series.........
