I love the blacl w/ red framed one, it will look amazing with a nice set of black or red hipers on it. Thats pretty damn stupid that theyre not giving those to the non-electric start ones.

Thats because the rear plastic is different for the kicker cut out.

i would just wait till 08 and see what honda does, because nothing has changed mechanically in 06 to 07.

I disagree, Kawasaki and Suzuki both have EFI on their qauds before the bikes got them. Im willing to bet Yamaha will have EFI for 07 or 08 on the YFZ.

and i realize this. that is why i said honda will not release a quad with efi.

the suzuki and kawasaki are both untested machines, with the suzuki having minimal testing. honda knows what they are doing, they would rather have there efi working good for a year on the bikes and have all the kinks worked out before they will put it on the quad.

i personally think that the 08 450r will have EFI and a few other new things. like said before honda is unbeatable when it comes to testing there machines and getting it right the first time. i would rather them wait a year and work on it and come out with something thats not gonna tear up.

There going to be kicking them selves in the *** when Yamaha releases an Aluminum efi YFZ*. And then when Honda decides to step it up, Yamaha and Suzuki will be one step ahead.

The 450R looks terrible IMO, but i think the 400ex doesnt look to bad. I like that black with the red. If you look at the pics on that site, all of the 400ex pics looks good, and the last 3 look like they have a darker tint to the frame.

What about the Suzuki is Untested? Where have you been the last 6 months.

Why would they rather have it working on the bikes before they put them on the quads?

EFI just inst pracitcal in the MX world yet. Although Suzuki has one coming, and will be the first.

ok lets think for a minute, when i said minimal testing i was right suzuki has 6 months of minimal testing. when honda has 3 years of testing on its engine and what not. thats what i meant by minimal testing.

and from the looks of it suzuki should have done more testing cuz there frames are ****ty once again and there trannsmissions are blowing up.

:huh Almost everything is right. Everything besides the 450R. The 400ex, 300ex, 229EX, 250R, and most of their utes are pretty much bullet proof. The 450R is a far cry from being perfect, every year has had substantial flaws. I'm not being biased either, the YFZ and LTR has had their fair share of problems also. I just have to laugh when people think the 450R is perfect.

The only year 450r that had problems was the 05 had cheap crank main berrings. That problem was fixed a long time ago. Other than that I haven't heard of the 450r having any majior motor issiues.

Oh, so motor issues is the only issue that people have to worry about? I remember quite a few '04's were cracking/busting the frames. It sounds like the '06's are having some problems with their starters too. I don't remember off hand how many issues the 450R had or what they are, but that doesn't really matter. All 450's are going to have issues.

O yea I'm not saying there won't be issiues with the quads, I have just heard less about the 450r. I have heard about alot of YFZ's blowing up really bad, to the point where most everything, even the cases had to be replaced. I'm not tryin to start and argument, I'm just a honda person:rolleyes:

Have only heard of a few cases where it's that bad on a YFZ. Have heard of cases that bad with the 450R too, and the LTR, and the 400EX, and the 250R, and the Banshee....they're all the same. I'm not trying to start an agrument either, I'm just a non-biased person who enjoys ATV's all together and believe no one is better than the other.

Honda could put EFI on very easily, they have had it in their street bikes for a long time now.

Suzuki is fixing all their frames, no matter what. Its not the frame itself that sucks, its the lack of welding in one certain area. I have only heard of about 1 or 2 people blowing up their trannies, I bet there are quite a few people who have blown trannies on 450r's and YFZ's. Who cares though, no company will ever make a perfect and flawless bike, there will always be bugs to work out.
