I must say that I am a little disappointed in Honda. Oh well what can you expect, they are always playing catch up with the onther companies. Not that they dont have great stuff, and I have always loved Hondas, but I think they are getting left way behind this year.

Good one! Why don't you just sit back and think about what you just said... this is what honda does they what a few years and then change it.. and as far as honda always playing catch up give me a freakin break how many years has the 250r dominate for? About 15 years, I don't think honda has always been playing catch up

do you really want to know why honda waits? becasue they dont and will not and never have come out with a crappy product with any mistakes... they take there time and do exclusive test and tune untill the bike is perfect to the public...

Personally, I am happy with Honda. I think the bikes for 07 look great, and be honest, who really thought that they would make major changes to a bike that is doing great with sales and was just released with the changes for 06? Honda usually does their changes every second year it seems like, and from what it looks like, the R will continue to follow this path. Personally, I took the Honda over everything else at the time, and I will continue to do it again the next time I go out and get something.:macho

Like any company it is not very cost effective to retool there whole factory evey year. Normaly they make small changes to keep the publics interest. While there Research and Development department Work on there next machine too see production in the future. I believe with the new introduction of the Kawasaki Will push Honda to stive to make an even better race quad. I can see EFI and maybe Aluminum frame and hopefully more suspension mods in honda future. just my opinion

Why does everyone want EFI??? The suzuki isnt doing nothing that the honda or yamaha isnt doing and the efi will just lead to electric start and more money that alot of us racers do not want if not mistaking!

I thought they might offer two different 450's for 07, one MX and the other XC.

Does anybody know if they are going to fix the slow starting problem? And no I'm not going to install a kick start as a remedy.

I have never had a slow starting problem either! from what I was told from a local dealer the release of the quad kept being pushed back and they sat . the battery got weak . if you having this problem change out your battery and you should be fixed.

lol... anybody who feels the same, just go buy the new suzuki ltr... thats the "latest and greatest" technology...

lol... yah too bad suzuki makes a crappy bike and they are having all kinds of problems with it... i'd take a widened trx or yfz over the ltr any day, or for that matter i would take a stock trx or yfz over the ltr any day...

yah, i love how suzuki came out with the ltr several months after honda and yamaha came out with their 06s, and it was still junk...

and then how all these people rushed out and paid $8+ grand to be test dummies...
