trouble starting for the 1st time

i just did a 416 on my 400ex 450r carb and hot cam 2. its getting gas and it wants to start sometimes but then it doesnt then it back fires once and a wire out the pipe after u give it some gas a while after that. than idk what else to do. HELP??

what jetting are you at??? I ended up at 48pilot (still needs to go up) 3 turns out on fuel screw, 3rd clip on needle, 210 main and i'm still not running rich plug is a nice tan color and she eats.
