Ok, im gonna be boring my engine to a 416 and running an 11:1 piston in it. I know everyone says that 93 octane will be fine, but my question is have you ever needed to mix say 100 or 110 with it like a 50/50 mix? Id say my riding is mostly trails, and sometimes long stretches across fields where the motor will be getting a lot of air passed it too keep ut cool. Im hoping that i wont need to mix any octanes, thats why i got the 11:1. All replies will be appreciated.

Oh yeah, i'm also going to be running an Amsoil full synthetic 10w40 too.

I just put my 400 threw a preformance upgrade this past winter. She got a 416cc kit, full yoshi, k&n, and dyno jets. she has only been rode one time since then, and i just ran 93 octane, and it ran like a champ. i had no problems at all. well, besides battery. However when i go and race it at the fair this summer, i will probably run a bit of octane booster in it.

thought i would let you know what i run, and how it does.

IMO--Avoid octane boosters like the plague. If you want higher octane, simply buy better fuel.
