Sounds like Suziki copied the 400ex, the Raptor, and the Bombardier. Looks like a nice ride though.

Notice the suspension travel numbers are exactly the same as 400EX, and the frame geometry looks damn close to a 400EX. It even has an aluminum swingarm... just like the 400EX. When I first glanced at the picture I thought it was a modified 400EX.
The DRZ based engine will rock though. Maybe this will convince honda to either beef up the current 400EX engine, or drop the CRF450 engine into a quad.

Looks like a yellow 400cc Raptor to me. Cannondale will still be king in my opinion. When is somebody going to make a jet black and silver quad? That would be so bad *****.:grr

lets just hope, for Suzukis sake, that if they did copy the 400, Raptor, and DS that they got the good parts and not the bad.......

4 cylinder? It's probably a typo...but if it isn't, may god help us all.

They might have a bigger bore but we have a longer stroke!:D :D

The suspention looks exactly like that showa shocks on the 400ex. raptor plastic. and raptor tires. the wheels are suzuki though. the only thing suzuki really made was the motor and the lights.

GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND READ THE SPECS ON IT

YOU BE THE JUDGE

It's got a lot of ground clearance though. It might be a good thing that they "copied" every one's design because you might get what's good about each machine, but not what's bad. The bad stuff will be new bad stuff.

Black and silver would be trick (cannondale did it by the way), but dont get me started on keeping the thing scratch free (know anyone with a 400ex?) look at the side pannels, and picture all the plastic like that.

Notice they are calling it the quad sport and not quad racer. Here's hoping suzuki ever gets into racing again!

I cant wait to see one or ride one. If it handles as well as the 400ex and they actually use that DRZ with its 11.3:1 compression........watch out lightly modded ex riders!!!!!!!! Even if the motor is detuned from the DRZ, with that compression ratio the Hp should be in the low 30's. I like the styling. I want to see a line up of 400ex, LTZ400 and the Raptor to get a good comparison.

Plus a shorter stroke means quicker revving!!!!!!!!! DOHC doesnt thrill me tho. Liquid cooling......hope it doesnt heat up like the Raptor and Banshee's do.:macho

The only time I have really noticed it was one day when all my cousin and I were doing was making a short 25 yard run at a jump and then landing and coming back to the start. We did that all afternoon and the bike was running hotter than normal but didn't drip coolant or anything.
