Well, I had to go pick up a front sprocket bolt yesterday from the hardware store and I ran into this paint. Its called PlastiDip. It comes in Red,Black,Yellow,White and Clear. I am going to get a can of the white and spray a spot under my fenders to see how it holds up. If it can take a muddy race and a pressure washer, I am going to do my entire plastic on my 300ex. What do you guys think, its supposed to be Flexable, unlike the Fusion.

dont know how it will hold up on plastics but it works well on the ends of all my pliers. Never even thought to use it on the plastics. Keep us updated

might make the plastics alot heavier and cause them to sag

if he put on alot, honestly if they can get 10-20 pounds of mud on them in a race and not get busted up I dont think a couple grams of rubber will harm them.

it's pretty much the same stuff as undercoating for cars.

Don't do it. You'll be sorry.

Too much flex on the plastic, it will just look like CRAP and it gets dirty too easily. It's not a totally smooth finish and it has microscopic pits in it which will pick up all kinds of dirt/dust that you won't get out. If you power wash it it'll just wrip it off.

plus the first time you put it on its side, you are going to have scratches showing through from the plastics:devil:

My friend Ryan used it on his 400ex plastics, and I think it turned out awesome. But it's not permanent, so if the plastics bend anywhere, the stuff with crack.

Just use the krylon paint. It's been prooven to work great under the normal stress of plastics.

Ryan used Krylon Fusion. This guy is talking about something different. I say just try the krylon fusion. Prep it real good or it will turn out like crap.
