clutch adjusting?

on my wifes 300ex the clutch doesnt carch until way out at the end of the lever. no feather smooth start there, release and go. i puilled the clutch off and all the plates look new, but i replaced em anyway. still the same problem.

300ex's do that. My friends is the exact same way.

You would have to get an aftermarket adjustable clutch to fix that. Like he said above, all 300ex's do that from the factory.
