Everyone has been telling me to put 400 arms on my 300. How much longer are the 400 arms than the 300s?

Will I be able to use my 300 hubs with the 400 arms?

Will I have to change tie rods or ends?

Would I be better off to get some 300 +2 arms and good shocks?

Im new at the whole sport quad modding. Im just tryin to get all the info possible. If I do get these arms ill be putting them on myself so I want to know what all I have to look forward to. Thanks for the help!

I would do a search on here for "300ex with 400ex arms" and research it first. Personally I didn't like the setup. Some feel it is fine. In my opinion you would be better off with 300ex +2 a arms and some aftermarket shocks.

With that said... yes your stock hubs/spindles will work with the 400ex arms. The 400ex spindles work a little better though. The 400ex arms are about +2" per side. You will need the 400 tie rods. The stock 300 shocks won't work well with the 400ex stuff. You will either need custom length shocks or use a shockmount relocator bracket and run 400ex length shocks.

a few years ago i put 400ex arms, shocks, and the center section of the tie rods on my wifes 300ex.i bought a jig throught some-one in dirt wheels.it does work, and it feels much better.my opinion is by time u buy the 400ex stuff, and removed the front plastic to weild the upper shock relocaters in u might be able to buy the right stuff for your 300ex for the a-arms.then just buy the front shocks...
