I just bought a 450r and its all stock except handle bars and i wanna pipe it with the filter and jets i just got but which would be best for the sand. The HMF DMC or the Yoshi, i am mainly looking for midrange and torque.

i gotta say HMF, but you cant go wrong with yoshi either... both are good... if i remember the HMF is considerably less expesnive...

Don't rule out the yoshi...i just put one on a 250ex and it preforms great! Now i know that comparing a 250 to a 450 is a strech, but i was really impressed with it. The fit and finish on them is second to none, they really make a quality product. And if im not mistaken i think yoshi's are running cheaper then the HMF at least for the 400ex. It all depends on what options/model you want. Their high end pipe is insanley expensive, but their basic Off Road system is very affordable and preforms well from what i have seen. It not too loud either..

i've been looking at the RS-3 slip on for it and so far I like the looks of it and i have heard the power out put is pretty good, heck the pro circuit is more expensive for the 450r than the yoshi.

I just installed a Yoshi on my new 400ex, and I was very impressed with the difference it made. Go by a $20 front sprocket with one tooth less than stock and put that on at the same time. You'll be amazed at the difference.
I bought the Yosh complete system (RS-3) from Rocky, and I think it was cheaper than HMF or FMF complete systems. Plus it looks great!
