Ok so the oil check works like this, you pull the bolt out and let the oil drain till it stops, then its at the right level???

Also, if the level is too high, will it SLOWLY leak from the check bolt, or is there a problem?

Start over. Drain your oil. Then when you add the oil, (check bolt out) add oil (bout 6/10 of a qt) till it begins to seep outta the check bolt hole. Put bolt and filler cap back on, ride it for about 5 minutes or so. Then check the oil level, it should just seep out of that check bolt hole, if not add a litle till it does. Hope this helps.

It is a oil check bolt!! Not a oil fill bolt!! The only reason the bolt is there,is to be able to check if there is oil in the quad!

Let say the machine is sitting or it is not yours and you are not sure if ithere is any oil in it.. there is no dip stick so you could pull the OIL CHECK BOLT and see if any oil spills out before you start it!!

If you use the OIL CHECK BOLT for a OIL FILL BOLT you will more than likely under fill your trans!! oil will spew out way before it is full!!

If you want to do it right, drain the oil using the DRAIN PLUG! Then MEASURE 700cc of oil or about 3/4 of a quart and pour it in!!

Also if you use the OIL CHECK BOLT as a FILL BOLT you will more than likely strip it out over time !!
