my friend has a problem at his vo-ed school where he has to make a shape that will fit through all 4 of the following shapes perfectly without leaving any gaps. the shapes are all the same size .

Can you post the "exact" phrasing that the problem comes with. They are usually a bit of a trick question. The wording of the question is very important.

If they are all 2-dimensional shapes, you could turn them sideways and a line would fit them perfectly.. lol.

Or if you stack all the shapes on top of each other.. this shape will fit in to fill the void.

it has to be a 3 dimensional solid shape and has to pass through each shape completely unobstructed
