Nice pics Glen. How long did it take you to get up there from our area? I'm really hoping to get up there next year. This year would be better but it doesn't look like it'll happen.:ermm: I have GOT to ride some dunes.:devil:

Scott it is about 5 1/2 hrs, pretty much a straight shot, from your place cut at least an hour off.

We are going at least 1 more time with our group this year, like Sept. Try and plan for that....

Cool. I thought it was farther than that. It looks like more on the map.

I wish I could make it in Sept. but I don't think I'll be in any shape for that stuff. My knee replacement surgery is scheduled for Aug. 1st.:eek2: Getting 2 new knees.

BTW- That video makes me want to go even more.:devil: Very nicely put together.

Great they finally approved your surgery????!!!!

Damn dude it is gonna be alot of rehab but far better than the pain youo are in now...did I mention I make parts that go into the castings for the knee replacements.....:eek2: Yep a little of me is gonna be in you.....ugh that sound a little brokeback:scary:

Yep. It's a go. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. From what I'm told the post op pain isn't much worse than what I feel now so that's a releif.

I didn't know you made knee replacement parts. So you're basically my aftermarket parts dealer. Make sure and have them send me some parts that weren't made on Friday. J/K

It looks like the lip of that jump isn't that good this year, we were landing on the down side of that hill when I was there last year. Hopefully if I get to go in August, it will be a little bit better. Cool vid by the way.

His name is Butters, I think he has it punched out to around 600. All he did was work on it...got himself an LTR now but it would have eaten any of the 4 strokes there besides the 1100's..

That was a honda 250R??? or a suzuki 500?? Hmm.....it looked very fast.


I know they make a kit for the Honda 250R that replaces the stock jug with that of one from the CR500 dirtbike. I do know that the modification might be difficult, but it can be done.

Nice bike anyhow. Those new ltr's are nice too, i'm just a honda guy, the reason I own one.

that was definately a quadzilla...

theyre fast bikes but i would never own one... they werent very well built, it doesnt take too much to make a banshee faster, you feel like youre driving a tank, and i dont like that big bore short shift feel... i want something that revs out real good and real high...

I'd like to ride that bike, but I rode a 250r framed 636 the last time I was there and nothing could touch it. I didnt get to ride the 1400 w/nitrous while I was there. I could have I just didnt ask!

I am not a fan of the LT500 quadzilla.

I like the Banshee's, I know a lot of them that have been built up and are not very reliable at all.

I tend to favor the 4stroke now. They are building them to rev almost as good as a 2stroke.

I would have a Banshee as a second bike, but not my only one.
